How to drink fluids without making your night worse
Try this for a few days:
Drink more water in the morning and evening
Reduce blood pressure in large blood vessels in the two hours before bedtime
Avoid coffee or caffeinated tea at night
If you drink alcohol, see if your symptoms worsen.
Don’t go to bed without going to the bathroom first.
If you also have heart or kidney problems, your fluid intake should be adjusted in consultation with your doctor. Don’t self-medicate or severely restrict your water intake. That won’t help either.
And here’s the most interesting part: it’s not just what you drink that matters. Your daily habits matter too. That’s where many people find real relief.
