A woman was helping her child rearrange a blanket. A man had moved his suitcase so that an elderly passenger could sit more comfortably. Two travelers were comparing information about alternative routes. Someone near the entrance was holding a door open for people carrying heavy bags.
These were not extraordinary acts. Most were so small that they could easily go unnoticed.

I wondered how often I had overlooked similar moments because I was too focused on my own destination.
The stranger and I continued talking while we finished the food. I asked whether they had been waiting long, and they explained that their own plans had also been affected by the weather.
There was no dramatic story of wealth or sacrifice behind the offer. The stranger was not presenting themselves as a hero. They had simply brought food, noticed someone who might appreciate it, and decided to share.
